LICENSING AGREEMENTS & PURCHASING RIGHTS TO BOOKS

Many other publishers have requested permission to utilize Medicine Wheel Publishing’s books in other formats. Please seek written permission from Medicine Wheel Publishing before using any content.

STORY WALKS PERMISSION

You can request permission to use titles from Medicine Wheel Publishing to create Story Walks.

Email info@medicinewheelpublishing.com for permission to use the books for Story Walks. Please include the book title and dates on which your event will take place.

A licensing fee of $100.00 CAD per storywalk, which includes an honorarium to the author, will be requested. This allows the organization to use the book in a storywalk for up to 30 days. After which, the materials will be removed. If you are wanting more than 30 days, you must buy an additional license.

4.)

The organization will ensure the graphic and visual of the book will remain high quality and unweathered. If the quality of the book on the storywalk becomes compromised, the organization will remove it.

READ ALOUD PERMISSION

You may also request permission to read a Medicine Wheel Publishing book aloud online.

Please follow these instructions.

Use a physical copy of the book.

3.)

State you have been granted permission by Medicine Wheel Publishing.

4.)

You must acknowledge the author, the illustrator and Medicine Wheel Publishing at the beginning of the video.

5.)

Publish your link on a closed, internal, or password-protected system and take your video down after 30 days.

6.)

You can read on Facebook Live or other live streaming channels but please do not save a copy on social media networks. For clarity, the video must be removed as soon as the live event is completed.

YOUTUBE

If you have a YouTube channel, please reach out to Medicine Wheel Publishing before posting any of the books or content to your YouTube page. Medicine Wheel Publishing encourages YouTube users to utilize content as long as the YouTuber seeks permission before posting the book.
